President
Clay Richards, A.I.A., NCARB, is licensed by the Texas Board of Architectural Examiners and Louisiana State Board of Architectural Examiners to practice architecture in the States of Texas and Louisiana. Mr. Richards is a native of Bridge City, Texas and has lived in Orange, Texas, for the past ten years. Mr. Richards is a 1998 graduate of Bridge City High School, a 2000 graduate of Panola Junior College, and a 2005 graduate of the University of Houston. Mr. Richards has extensive experience with educational, municipal, commercial, residential, civic and religious projects. Mr. Richards served as the 2013 President of the Southeast Texas Chapter of the American Institute of Architects as well as a member of the Texas Society of Architects, American Institute of Architects, National Council of Architectural Registration Boards, and is an active member of the Rotary Club of Orange.

Mark Magnuson
Designer
Mark D. Magnuson, is licensed by the Texas Board of Architectural Examiners to practice architecture in the State of Texas. Mr. Magnuson is a native of Orange, Texas and has lived in Bridge City, Texas, for the past twenty years. Mr. Magnuson is a 1977 graduate of West Orange High School, a 1979 graduate of Lamar University, and a 1988 graduate of Texas A&M University. Mr. Magnuson is the President of Architects Inc., and has extensive experience with educational, municipal, commercial, residential, civic and religious projects. His role includes the duties as project architect, project designer and coordinator, and construction documents manager. Mr. Magnuson served as the 1996 President of the Southeast Texas Chapter of the American Institute of Architects.

Jerry Thigpen
Construction Administrator
Jerry Thigpen, is the firm’s construction administrator. Mr. Thigpen is a resident of Woodville, Texas. His work experience includes over twenty years as a project superintendent on various commercial projects while working for The Bella Company, Beaumont, Texas; Tribble Stephens Construction, Ltd., Houston, Texas and ALLCO Construction, Inc., Beaumont, Texas. He was construction administrator while with the architectural firm of Moore, Stansbury & Vaught, Inc for fourteen years and now with Architects Inc. for the past six years. Mr. Thigpen has over forty years of construction experience with all building types. He works as the firm’s construction administrator, visiting the project site several times a week to observe the contractor’s progress and to review the construction to assure the project meets the construction document requirements.
